Agilent Australia’s service center has marked a milestone in its commitment to excellence in servicing test equipment: 35 years of continuous NATA accreditation. NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) is Australia’s government-endorsed accreditation authority for laboratories and similar testing facilities. No other test and measurement vendor in Australia has invested in NATA accreditation as comprehensively or for as long as has Agilent.

“As business and consumers demand higher quality and reliability, and as test equipment becomes increasingly sophisticated, service providers have had to work hard to stay ahead,” said Keith Baucke, support business manager for Agilent’s Service and Support Unit, Melbourne. “In an increasingly competitive market, our users look for confidence in their equipment’s results. NATA accreditation is an important part of that process. “

The Australia service center, located in Melbourne, handles post-purchase calibration, repair and occasional hardware upgrades for customers, primarily those in the aerospace and defense industry but also in telecommunications, manufacturing and R&D.
