Agilent Technologies Announces Handheld RF Analyzer Training Program

Agilent Technologies is now offering  a training program on RF communications, infrastructure, installation and maintenance. The training program, consisting of three courses, is designed to give users of handheld RF analyzers the knowledge they need to get the most from their equipment.

The program is designed for RF technicians, engineers and contractors who install and maintain RF communications infrastructure equipment. Attendees will receive training on Agilent’s N9330B cable and antenna tester, N9340B spectrum analyzer, and N9912A FieldFox RF analyzer.

“Customers want to make sure they are getting the most out of their Agilent RF field test equipment”, said David Aplin manager of Agilent’s Technical Resource Organization. “The training program allows us to share our expert knowledge and the latest trouble-shooting techniques to ensure customers can get their jobs done as accurately and efficiently as possible.”

The three courses are:

ο      “Line Sweep, Antenna Test Training” a two-day course that covers RF fundamentals, antenna and transmission-line basics and troubleshooting;

ο      “RF Interference Analysis Training” a two-day course that focuses on interference testing and troubleshooting; and

ο      “Line Sweep, Antenna Test and RF Interference Analysis Training” a three-day course that combines line sweeping, antenna test and interference analysis.

Participants will receive an Agilent certificate of completion with each course, dependent upon their written and practical examination scores.

All three courses are offered in English at a number of Agilent locations or hosted at sites requested by customers in the United States and Canada. Dates, locations and registration information can be found at www.agilent.com/find/rfhandheldtraining.
